Welcome back to The High Life!
In this issue, we're introducing a crucial gadget—the Multitool. Standard-issue but ultra-modern, every S.I.M.U. comes with one. It's a personal assistant and information repository rolled into a single handy unit, with high-tech scanning capabilities that any intrepid explorer will learn to love.
Then, we're featuring the last page of Into the Chaos Gardens. It's been an incredible run, with a conspiracy brewing, a much-loved G.R.U.N.T. becoming corrupted, and a little F.R.I.E.N.D. mounting a resistance. Now that the dust has settled, how will the powers that be exploit the situation?
Let's dive in to find out! ⬇️

When it comes to experiencing Highstreet: Calamity (and every release in the future), you'll be interacting with your Multitool really often. It's your trusted companion, always fastened around your wrist—use it when you're scanning ruins, tracking creatures, and uncovering secrets buried in Highstreet City and across Solera.
We started with a simple question: what if your main interface wasn't just functional, but actually felt like a piece of tech from this world? We didn't want another menu system. We wanted something that meshes with your experience, something that makes exploration feel natural and discovery feel earned.

The Multitool does exactly that. Activate the Pulse Scan, and your device will send out a wave to reveal hidden layers around you. Ancient lore glows with one color, harvestable plants with another, movement paths light up in blue. Use the directed beam to focus on specific objects and NPCs, unlocking journal entries that catalog everything you find.
Collect enough scattered lore and the Multitool does something special: it assembles those fragments into Recollections, lost stories about ancient lore and the Gloom that no one else has seen. Need a specific crafting ingredient? The Multitool can track that down too. As you upgrade it, the scan radius expands, the pulse moves faster, and you'll get access to rarer materials.

This is a tool built by the Simulacrum Fulfillment Factory that evolves with you. The more you explore, the more powerful it becomes. It isn't just a gadget for interacting with the characters, creatures, and environment in Highstreet. It's a conduit for understanding the world around you.
